The Principal, Vice-Principal, Academic Supervisors, Headmistresses, staff members, students and the support staff of CSI participated in this programme for 30 minutes from 12 noon to 12.30 p.m. Different activities were conducted during this time like story telling, guess the story, hunt for the hidden words, word ladder, book mark making , writing about my favourite story and vocabulary building from the newspaper for the students of the primary section whereas the senior school students enacted skits, read out self-composed poems, made book marks apart from some classes which did silent reading.
Three teachers of our school (Dr A.K Jha, Dr Rashmi and Ms Harpreet Kaur), who are also authors, conducted author-meet sessions with the students of their class. The Middle School Academic Supervisor conducted a story telling session for the support staff members and inspired them to learn to read. The students wrote about their favourite books and authors on the Graffiti Wall poster placed in the library. Overall, it was an exciting, enriching and a fun filled experience for all.
